This one year course provides dentists extensive training with a University certified fellowship diploma in Dental Implantology.

Online Exam Instructions:

The registration and payment process for the online exam is simple and user friendly. The registration fee for the online exam is Rs.950 (Rs. Nine hundred and fifty only)
The mode of payment for registration will be only through online payment system.
We assume that the candidate is familiar in using computers and internet browsers.
There are no exam centers, the candidates can take up the exam in their personal computer with a good internet connection. (Kindly use wired internet connection and avoid Hotspot, Mobile 3g/4g connections).
By registering, each candidate will receive a unique username id and password, through which they can log in and take up the exam.
After the registration is complete, the candidates can take up a Mock exam by using the user id and password. This is to ensure that the candidates familiarize with the online exam pattern and overcome technical issues in the computers they use.
The online exam will be conducted on November 20th Sunday between 10.00am-11.00am.
The language of the exam will be only in English.
The examination will consist of only multiple choice questions (MCQs). Candidates should click on their correct choice of answer. The syllabus for the exam will be General dentistry, UG level
A total of 60 questions should be answered within a time limit of 1 hour (60 seconds per question).
Every RIGHT answer will be awarded 1 mark each. For every WRONG answer there will be a negative marking of 0.25. Unanswered questions will receive no marks.
Please note that only ONE question will be displayed on the computer screen at a time and the candidate CANNOT go back to the previous question once the time limit is reached.
The final marks obtained will NOT be displayed on the screen after the completion of the test. The results along with the answer keys will be intimated to the candidate via e-mail.
Kindly avoid minimizing the browser, clicking refresh tab or running multiple applications during the exam which may affect the server causing grievances during the exam session.
In the rare and unlikely event of a technical failure or power failure during the exam, candidate should log in again to start the exam from the question they had attended last.
ELIGIBILITY: BDS Graduates or MDS Graduates.
Candidates who have passed BDS from a Dental College/ University recognized by Dental Council of India.
Indian students who have studied in foreign countries and passed Dental Degree Course are eligible to join Fellowship in Dental Implantology provided they produce the following Certificates.
The Equivalency Certificate issued by the DCI / Government of India.
Registration Certificate issued by the respective State Dental Council.

DURATION OF THE COURSE: Duration for the Fellowship in Dental Implantology course is One year, starting from October 2016.
Dr. P. Suresh Kumar is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He has graduated from the Govt. Dental College and Hospital in Chennai (Madras Dental College) and was working as the Professor and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in SRM Kattankulathur Dental College and Hospital. He has undergone lot of training in the Facial correction surgeries (Orthognathic Surgery) and also got vast experience in trauma care and minor oral surgical procedures for more than 15 years. He has also undergone extensive training in Cancer treatment under world renowned specialist and also handled a number of cancer patients. He is super specialized in Implant procedures. He has undergone training extensively in Europe. He is one among the few to receive the fellowship from Indian Society of Oral implantology.
The 6-day comprehensive implant training program is aimed at dental surgeons who would like to begin practicing implants. This program is based on the school of thought that a sound theoretical knowledge and development of psychomotor skills is essential to become proficient in any field of dentistry. The comprehensive program is also designed accordingly, wherein the participants are taken through a series of lectures which increases their scientific base. Hands-on training provides them with the necessary skills to handle patients confidently. The participants are then given cases that they plan and execute completely.
